Try this.
It has nothing to do with the IMEI number.
Just you know, for Verizon you can use any IMEI number including 123456789000000.
So the only reason it looses network and sms is not working, is because you need to turn on the CDMA-LESS feature, and that’s it.

I would say that’s accurate 98 percent of the time, I’ve had an experience only once though, that Verizon claimed it was a blacklisted fraudulent IMEI and any outgoing calls went straight to the Verizon “fraud” department.
(However there were still bars)
i hear but…. if you call them and give them a qin f21 imei (867603…..) then they say the phopne isnt compatible and i called many times. when i switched to a f30 imei and called them again they got it working and i didnt even have to ask for cdma-less
i didnt have a chance to try activating cdma-less on a phone that was working with verizon

Of course when you give them the IMEI number they will say that’s not compatible. But that’s not the real issue.
And of course the best way to make them turn on the CDMA-LESS feature is to provide them with a Verizon compatible IMEI number.
okay so basically youre saying to ask them to turn on cdma-less while youre on a different device
