Kosher Aurora - Comments

So then the store actually does not need root at all?

I understand, but can two apps be admin? What about the mdm

Almost sure that yes.

But no, you cannot set 2 device owners at once, but do not worry, I’m going to integrate kosher aurora into my MDM, so it will be one big nasty project…
or 2 separate nasty projects, one without TripleUMDM…

Man, these device owners don’t know how to share.

Maybe this is my chance to try Dhizuku

They have an API, maybe check it out.

Yes. Looks good

Using an MDM with Dhizuku is going to be a bit tricky, because just like in Magisk and Shizuku, Dhizuku lets you disable device owners from in the Dhizuku app.
It would probably make sense to build a custom version with a password.

Dhizko is open source, maybe I’ll edit it.

Will be many versions… Yoish my head is busting.

  • Kosher Aurora + Some MDM functions.
  • TripleUMDM + App updates

I have to ask if it’s just possibly easier to:

https://forum.jtech-proxy.workers.dev/t/regarding-tripleumdm-version-3-5/3854/121?u=ars18

Or to make an exception when the installer is aurora.

Just saying this won’t help if you aren’t rooted.

yes, it’s doable 100%, but i need to rename the package name… and THAT’S hard…

Auroras? Why?

Don’t understand what you are saying

If someone isn’t rooted and they want to block APK install but still allow installing through the kosher Aurora the only way to do this would be to put the MDM and kosher aurora in the same app (as apposed to what you mentioned; to make a block apk install and block apk install through root) so they can both be Device Admins.

What about tripleumdm + kosher aurora store (synced with the json list)? This way you can block APK install but still download from your store.

All imports…
